Based in Simonstown, Cape Boat Charters is an eco-friendly boat charter operator. With an emphasis on protection of the environment, all are charters are managed so as to minimize impact on the environment. We subscribe to the Trees for Africa program, whereby our visitors are welcome to offset the carbon emissions produced by their vacation by sponsoring the planting of a few trees in a South African township.
Our boat Destiny is a new 8m Leecat fitted out with the latest state-of-the-art electronics such as radar, GPS plotter and fish finder. Our Skipper has 20 years in skippering boats both locally and abroad. At certain times of the year Whales, Dolphins well as Great White Sharks are seen.
The engines are four stroke 150 hp which are quiet, with low in emissions. Registered for 8 people, we run deep sea fishing charters for Yellowfin and Longfin Tuna, as well as inshore fishing for Snoek, Yellowtail, Katonkel and reef fish, in and around Cape Point.
